A friend asked me tonight during a discussion "so you still have hope?" I said "no, I'm quite confident it will work out contrary to my wished outcome. I have a desire, not a hope." I could be wrong...
does hope require a measurable chance? Does it require optimism? Does it all depend on the situation (faith)? Or is it simply the difference between noun and verb?
